Trading forex without indicators?
Is it possible to trade the forex spot market without using indicators? I would appreciate any strategy that would involve trading successfully without indicators if there is such a thing. Thank you for your answers. I feel very hopeful now. I wish to trade full time without using indicators. At this time I have a demo with Oanda as it's got the best web-based browser so I can check 24 hours both from work and home. This is the first time I'm using this service so don't know how to send my email contact without revealing here as I don't wish to be spammed.

- Thank God for that. A refreshing question for a change. I like it. Pretty original and in a way against conventional Forex trading wisdom. My answer is yes. Why not ? When George Soros shorted the GBP was he looking at the stochastics ? I dont know for sure but the credit he gave never mention anything about indicators. He gave several fundamental opinions of socio-political-economic factors. So there you go. ps Fundamental factors, not news. Two very different thing. Sometimes thru reding anaylsis and comments and opinions you get a fair view of the fundamental picture.
- My clients and I also have moved away from indicators, charts and signal services. We take a "Forex investing" approach as opposed to a Forex "trading approach". Taking a long term view we utilize a hedging strategy whereby we do not care if the market goes up or down. We make money either way. - Yes there is. Last year I came across a great strategy, in fact 3 great strategies, which is helping me to exponentially increase my account quite nicely! It's a method of trading the forex market without using any type of indicators, support or resistance levels, moving averages, pivots, oscillators, fibonacci, trend lines or ANY other trading tool you can think of. Only uses the price of the currency pair and a time element. Thats it! I'd be happy to share this resource.
